Kenyon College Athletics

Mackie Avis has been assisting the Lords program the last three-plus seasons after a standout career with Kenyon from 2010-2013. He started 42 games and contributed 61 goals and 27 assists during his time in a Lords uniform. 
 
Coach Avis started his coaching career in Washington, D.C. for The George Washington University's MCLA team. He served as the offensive coordinator and helped the program improve their win total in both 2015 and 2016. The Colonials' 2016 campaign was the first non-losing season in program history. Coach Avis also instructed five SELC all-conference performers during his two seasons at GW. 
 
In addition to his coaching duties, Avis serves as Assistant Director of Admissions and Social Media Liaison at Kenyon. In this role, he manages the admissions cycle of prospective students from Connecticut, parts of New York City and Upstate New York.
