Tom Klosowski was hired as an assistant coach in the summer of 2018 and begins his third year with the Lords lacrosse program. He will serve as the team's defensive coordinator.
Klosowski arrived on campus after serving as the head lacrosse coach at Christopher Columbus Catholic High School in Miami, Florida. During two seasons there, he improved his team’s record from 7-10 in his first year to 9-7 in his second.
Since 2017, he gained additional coaching experience as the owner/operator of TK Athletics LLC, which runs offseason lacrosse clinics and clubs for grade school and high school athletes.
Prior to kick-starting his coaching career, Klosowski had an extensive playing career that led to him playing for the Florida Launch of Major League Lacrosse. He worked his way up to the professional level after an All-America high school career that included the 2010 Miami-Dade Player of the Year award at Gulliver Prep in Miami. He achieved more All-America accolades at Onondaga Community College and helped the program win a pair of National Junior College Athletic Association championships.
Klosowski then played for one season at The Ohio State University (2013) before returning to Florida to earn his bachelor’s degree at the University of Miami (2017).
