Macey Zinser

After two seasons working as a graduate assistant coach at nearby Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU), Macey Zinser joined the Kenyon College volleyball staff as an assistant coach starting in January of 2026.

In her two seasons with the MVNU program, the Cougars posted a combined record of 58-14 and made a couple of deep runs in NAIA national tournament play. The 2025 MVNU team finished the season ranked at No. 10 nationally and the 2024 team finished its campaign at No. 13.

While working as an assistant coach at MVNU, Zinser gained her master’s degree in organizational management. Previously, she earned her bachelor’s degree in sports management from Lourdes University in Sylvania, Ohio.

During her playing days at Lourdes, Zinser was an outside hitter who logged 85 career matches. She racked up 379 career kills and 97 career blocks.

Zinser’s coaching experience also includes a year as a volunteer assistant with Lourdes men’s volleyball team, as well as two seasons as head coach of club teams at Athlete Headquarters.
