Kenyon College Athletics

The 2026-27 academic year will be Alan Kavanaugh's ninth at Kenyon College after being hired in July 2018 as the Athletics Department’s Equipment Manager. During the 2025-26 academic year, he was promoted to Director of Facilities and Operations.
 
Prior to his work at Kenyon, Kavanaugh, a 2011 graduate of Otterbein University, served as the Assistant Facility Supervisor of the Clements Recreation Center from 2011-17 before moving into the lead supervisor role.   
 
Kavanaugh graduated from Otterbein with a degree in sports management and was a four-year letterwinner on the Cardinals men’s basketball team.
