MT. VERNON, Ohio – Kenyon College volleyball fell in three sets to local Mount Vernon Nazarene University Tuesday night at Ariel Arena. The Ladies fell by scores of 25-12, 25-18 and 25-18.

Kenyon was led by freshman Tierney McClure who matched her season-high with 15 kills.  She also collected seven digs. Rachael Thorson paced the Ladies' defense with 17 digs while Hannah Shank handed out a match-high 26 assists.

Lauren Kerr and Kaitlyn Power each added five kills for Kenyon as well.

As a team, the Ladies had their best offensive performance of the season with a .207 attack percentage.

Kenyon continues its early season road swing with a trip to Richmond, Ind., to take part in the Earlham College Quaker Classic. The Ladies will play the University of Michigan-Dearborn and then Earlham September 4 starting at 4 p.m.
