BALTIMORE, Md. – Randolph College (7-4) used a 16-7 run in the second half to pull away from Kenyon College (4-7) in a 74-60 victory on the final day of the 24th annual Johns Hopkins University Blue Jay Invitational.
Seth Wimbish, named to the all-tournament team, scored 25 points on 9-of-10 shooting including hitting 6 three-pointers to lead JHU. Zach Desgain added 19 points, five assists, and nine rebounds while Corey Brown chipped in with 15.

John Bray was also selected to the all-tournament team. He recorded team highs with 18 points and six rebounds in the contest.
Dan Voigt came off the bench to score a season-high 12 points while
Cooper Handelsman tallied 12 points as well.
In the first half, Gordon Rogo gave Johns Hopkins its biggest lead (24-16) following a layup with 10:21 left. But the Lords didn't panic and rallied to tie the game with a 15-7 run to close the half. Bray had six points during that stretch while Voigt added four.
The hot end to the first half didn't translate to the second half for Kenyon though as the team shot just 27.3%.
After
Brien Comey's jumper with 7:49 left in the game brought the score to 48-43 Randolph, the Wildcats hit their game-clinching 16-7 run to go up 14 points (64-50). Wimbish's three-pointer capped off the stretch and give Randolph its biggest lead of the game.
Kenyon didn't get within 12 points in the final four minutes of the contest.
Randolph shot 52.1% (25-of-48) from the field while Kenyon hit 21-of-57 (36.8%). The Wildcats also held a 28-14 lead in points in the paint. The Lords' bench was outstanding scoring 36.
Kenyon returns to the hardwood January 7 when they travel to the College of Wooster (8-2) for an 8 p.m. North Coast Athletic Conference affair.

man's efforts landed him on the Blue Jay Invitational's All-Tournament team.
