GAMBIER, Ohio – The No. 23 (NSCAA) Kenyon College (13-2, 6-1 NCAC) men's soccer team outscored Allegheny College 3-1 in the second half en route to a 4-2 Senior Day victory at Mavec Field on Saturday in a North Coast Athletic Conference match.

Early on, the constantly-threatening Lords had a few good shots from
Oliver Wynn and
Woo Jeon, but nothing rang true until the 22nd minute.
With Jeon on the far sideline, he threw in a ball that was headed by
Bret Lowry and finished by Wynn to put Kenyon up 1-0.
That 1-0 score remained the same until the Gators found the equalizer at the 35:51 mark. After a save from Clougher, the deflection came out to Jack Walsh who headed it home.
In the second half, freshman
Philippe Stengel scored his first career goal during the 54th minute before Allegheny came right back two minutes later and got another equalizer, this time off the head of Jorge Olan.
The Gators found just one more on-target look the rest of the way though as Walsh's attempt was saved by Clougher.
With the score tied at 2, the Lords broke through for good off the foot of
David Anderson in the 71st minute. After Jeon made a simple pass along the right sideline, Anderson sailed an attempt over the outstretched arms of the Gators keeper inside the left post sending the Kenyon faithful into a frenzy.
Kenyon's scoring was capped off a little later as Amolo crossed a pass from the left end line and watched as Eudy fired into the right side.
Up next for the Lords is a date with archrival Ohio Wesleyan University on October 25 at 3:30 p.m.
Sophomore David Anderson had the go-ahead goal for the Lords as they won 4-2 over Allegheny College on Saturday. The victory
came on Senior Day for Kenyon who won its fifth in a row and improved their record to 13-2.
