ALBION, Mich. – In one of the best shooting performances a team could hope for, the Albion College Britons connected on field goals at a rate of nearly 65 percent while rolling to a 112-61 home victory over the Kenyon College men's basketball team.
Albion (3-1) made 40-of-62 shots (64.5 percent) and that included a 14-of-23 showing (60.9 percent) from three-point range. Additionally, the Britons went 18-of-20 (90.0 percent) at the free throw line.
Kenyon (0-3) also shot 90.0 percent (9-of-10) at the free throw line, but only made half the trips that Albion made. From the floor, the Lords were 20-of-57 (35.1 percent) overall and 12-of-36 (33.3 percent) from beyond the arc.
Five Albion players reached double-digit scoring marks and nine different players scored seven or more points. Caden Ebeling led the Britons with 17 points. Juwan Perry dumped in 16 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while Milton Barnes tallied 15 more points.
Kenyon had three double-digit scorers. Senior

Elijah Davis both pumped in 11 points, while junior
Carter Powell scored 10. Powell added a team-high five rebounds and freshman
Kamal Aubakirov contributed a team-high four assists.
The Britons made their intentions clear right from the tip, racing out to leads of 12-4 and 25-8. After the first 10 minutes of play, the Lords never pulled closer than 15 points. Albion shot 22-of-32 (68.8 percent) in the first half, canned eight of its first dozen three-point attempts and built a 59-27 lead at the half.
