Lords finish season in top 25

United Soccer Coaches Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In the final United Soccer Coaches poll of the 2021 season, the Kenyon College men's soccer team ranked 17th.

The Lords finished the 2021 season 16-3-1 overall, 9-0 in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC), won 15 straight games during the season, and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Kenyon's second round appearance marks the eighth straight postseason the Lords continued that far.

After their season ended, the Lords gained four players on the All-Region team including NCAC Defender of the Year Luke Muther and Newcomer of the Year Gerardo Martinez. Muther later found himself on the United Soccer Coaches All-American roster as well.

The Lords are primed for another strong campaign in 2022 as they return eight starters along with first-year goalkeeper Jack Pedreschi. Out of the 2021 roster, Kenyon brings back 14 goal scorers, 10 of those scored more than one on the season.
