2025-26 Women’s Swimming & Diving Season Preview

GAMBIER, Ohio- With tradition on its side and momentum flowing from another successful campaign, the Kenyon College women's swimming and diving team is ready to launch into the 2025-26 season. Armed with a roster that balances veterans and rising contributors, the Owls enter the season with eyes set on extending their conference dominance and contending for another podium finish on the national stage.

2024-25 Review
The Owls added another chapter to their storied history by securing the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Championship for the second consecutive year, marking their 29th title in the 40-year history of the conference. On the national stage, Kenyon capped the season with a third-place finish at the NCAA Championship. The Owls were one of just three programs to eclipse the 400-point mark at the meet, showcasing the team's never-ending depth.

Coaching Staff
Head Coach Jess Book enters his 16th season at the helm of the program. A leader with a proven record, Book guided Kenyon to its second national championship in three seasons in 2023-24, a feat that solidified the Owls' place in history with the most total NCAA Championships (25) of any women's program. This season, Book is supported by assistant coach Dani Korman and Kosuke Kojima, as well as diving coach Jason Glorius.

2025-26 Preseason Poll
While the official preseason poll for the 2025-26 season has yet to be released, last year's final College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of American (CSCAA) dual meet poll placed Kenyon fifth. The Owls collected 342 points in the final poll. That was 51 points behind Massachusetts Institution of Technology, which topped the final poll. New York University (371), Emory University (370) and Denison University (364) finished just ahead of the Owls.
