Three seniors named CSC Academic All-Americans

GAMBIER, Ohio -- After being named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team two weeks ago, three Kenyon College seniors got through national voting and were selected, by members of CSC, to the 2025-26 Women's Swimming & Diving Academic All-America Team.

The announcement, made Tuesday, revealed that Molly Haag was selected to the First Team, while both Gwen Eisenbeis and Lisa Torrecillas-Jouault were selected to the Second Team. The Kenyon representatives were three of just 24 NCAA Division III selections made by CSC members. The announcement also marked the second straight year in which three members of the Kenyon women's swimming and diving team earned the prestigious honor.

To be eligible for CSC's Academic All-America Team, a student-athlete had to compete in at least 75 percent of the team's competitions, or had a top-eight finish at a conference meet, or had to participate in the national championship. The nominee had to be on the team's active roster for at least two years and had to possess a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average. Additionally, in order to reach Academic All-America status, a student-athlete had to first be named to CSC's Academic All-District Team.

Haag, now a three-time Academic All-District honoree, collected her second straight Academic All-America award. Torrecillas-Jouault, another three-time Academic All-District honoree, made her first appearance on the Academic All-America Team, while both the district and national awards were the first for Eisenbeis.

The 2026 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Swimmer of the Year, Haag picked up four conference event titles this season and then went on to the NCAA Championship, where she was crowned national champion in both the 500- and 1,650-yard freestyle events. Her two career NCAA titles complement her 18 career College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) All-America awards. Haag, who is a mathematics major, also earned 16 career all-conference honors throughout her impressive four-year career.

Torrecillas-Jouault, a double major in philosophy and political science, swam in seven events at the NCAA Championship and had six All-America finishes, including one as a member of the national champion and national record-setting 400-yard medley relay team. Earlier in the season, she won the NCAC titles in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle races, and she finished her Kenyon career with 18 all-conference honors and 16 CSCAA All-America awards.

Eisenbeis, a mathematics major, was the 2026 NCAC champion in the 100- and 200-yard backstroke, as well as a member of three relay championships, bringing her career total to eight conference crowns. A 15-time CSCAA All-American, Eisenbeis is a three-time NCAA qualifier and captured her first national title this season, joining Torrecillas-Jouault as a part of Kenyon's record-setting 400-yard medley relay team.
