Commandeur earns All-Region honors in debut season

GAMBIER, Ohio – The United Soccer Coaches announced its 2025 NCAA Division III Men's All-Region VII Teams on Tuesday, and freshman defender Jack Commandeur earned a spot on the Second Team, marking the first All-Region honor of his young career. Commandeur was the only Owl selected on the men's side, adding yet another accolade to an impressive debut season.

Commandeur's postseason resume already includes being named the NCAC Newcomer of the Year, a First Team All-NCAC selection, and a spot on the NCAC All-Tournament Team. His impact on both ends of the pitch quickly established him as one of the conference's most dynamic first-year players.

A steady presence from the back line, Commandeur played all 18 games for the Owls and moved into the starting lineup for the final nine contests. Defensively, he anchored a unit that held opponents to just 1.00 goals per game and six clean sheets, helping keep Kenyon competitive throughout the season as the team finished 7-4-7 overall and 3-2-3 in NCAC play.

Despite his defensive role, Commandeur emerged as one of Kenyon's most dangerous scoring threats. His size, timing, and ability to rise above defenders on set pieces made him a frequent target on corners, leading to a team-high six goals and 13 points, both the top marks for the Owls.
