Milovich leads Owls in Regional finale

GRANVILLE, Ohio -- For the second straight day, Kenyon College first-year Nadia Milovich led the Owls at the NCAA Division III Region I Diving Championships, held at Denison University.

After snaring a 21st-place finish on Friday in the one-meter competition, Milovich improved to 17th place at the conclusion of Saturday's three-meter competition. That placement was based on her score of 374.90. She got stronger as the day went on, earning a score of 39.60 for a dive in the middle of her lineup and then producing a 43.20 and a 41.25 on her last two dives, respectively.

Sophomore Lucy Cassell-Kelley also improved her final placement on Saturday. After taking 25th place Friday on the one-meter board, she rang up a Saturday score of 351.35 on the three-meter board. That was good for 19th place in the field of 33 divers. Her best dive was her ninth, the inward 2 ½ somersault tuck, as she collected a score of 40.50 from the judges.

Rounding out the Kenyon roster were sophomore Olive O'Dorisio and senior Naomi Kennel. O'Dorisio earned a final score of 343.20, which was good for 24th place, while Kennel wrapped up the 2024-25 diving season with a score of 340.70, which placed her 27th.
