The Ladies are heading back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2006.

against Emory University November 15 at 1:30 p.m. in Crestview Hills, Ky.GAMBIER, Ohio – The Kenyon College Ladies will embark into the 2014 NCAA Division III Tournament and face off against No. 24 Emory University (11-1-6) November 15 in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.

The Ladies, who enter the tourney with a 12-7-1 record, will travel to host school and 10th-ranked Thomas More College (20-1-0) who was one of several schools selected to host the first rounds of the tournament. Also making the trip to the Bluegrass State is Maryville College (Tenn.) (14-6-1).

Thomas More and Maryville will play the first match at 11 a.m. followed by Kenyon and Emory at 1:30 p.m. Â

Kenyon enters the tournament having won eight out of its last nine matches including claiming its first-ever North Coast Athletic Conference Tournament championship. It is the first time since 2006 that the Ladies have appeared in the NCAA Tournament. Kenyon defeated Capital in the first round before falling to Calvin that season.

The matchup with the Eagles will be the third all-time meeting between the two schools. The most recent contest was September 16, 2005 when Emory defeated Kenyon 3-0. A 2-2 draw on October 11, 1987 was the first-ever match.

Emory was one of 20 at-large bid recipients to the tournament. They closed their regular season on a seven-match unbeaten streak and finished fourth in the University Athletic Association with a 2-1-4 mark. This is their fifth straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament, a program record. Coach Sue Patberg has guided Emory to eight tournament appearances the last 10 years with a 13-7-2 record in that time.

Thomas More enters the tournament field after winning the Presidents' Athletic Conference. Â The Saints are winners of their last 12 matches. Last season, Thomas More advanced to the NCAA Tournament sectional semifinals.

Maryville claimed the USA South Athletic Conference Tournament championship and will be making their first appearance in the tourney since 2010.
