DECATUR, Ga. – Katie Hoener and Becca Romaine each scored as the Kenyon women's soccer team defeated Agnes Scott College 2-0 Sunday afternoon at Gellerstedt Stadium.

The Ladies took a whopping 29 shots compared to just three for the Scotties

Hoener scored her first goal of the season in the seventh minute giving Kenyon the only goal it would need in the match.

Romaine fired her team-leading third goal of the season in the 21st minute to push the Ladies' advantage to the final tally.

For Romaine, it was her 35th career goal which moves her into a tie for fourth place with former Lady Shannon Maroney (97-00).

Alissa Poolpol earned her first shutout of the year while collecting one save.

Kenyon will return home September 18 to face Defiance University for a 4:30 p.m. match at Mavec Field.
