Haley Townsend helped Kenyon in its meet against Ohio Wesleyan Friday. The junior
was a part of the first-place 400-yard medley relay team and she later captured the
50-yard freestyle event.RESULTSDELAWARE, Ohio –The Kenyon College Ladies swimming and diving team had at least the top three finishes in 10-of-11 events Friday night en route to a huge win over Ohio Wesleyan University.

Kenyon started the evening with the 400-yard medley relay. Juniors
Katie Kaestner and
Haley Townsend teamed with seniors
Alyssa LaFrenierre and
Jacque Garcia to win that event with an NCAA 'B' cut time of 3:59.32.

In the first individual event for the Ladies,
Mariah Williamson took first place in the 1000-yard freestyle touching the wall in 10:26.83.

Jenner McLeod placed first in the 200-yard freestyle and later Townsend won the 50-free in 24.57.

Among other winners Friday was
Ellie Crawford in the 100-yard individual medley and
Hannah Cooper's top-place spot in the 50-yard butterfly. Cooper also had a second-place showing in the 50-yard backstroke event.

Kenyon's last four first-place finishes were Kaestner in the 100-yard freestyle (53.05),
Celia Oberholzer in the 50-yard backstroke (27.46),
Laura Duncan's 30.08 time in the 50-yard breaststroke, and
Kanchi Desai's 5:07.96 time in the 500-yard freestyle.

Next up for the Ladies is a 1:00 p.m. start against Wittenberg University at the James A. Steen Aquatic Center on January 31.
