Abby Wilson swam a leg on the second-place 400-yard free relay team and also came
in third in the 200 freestyle as the Ladies collected a half-dozen runner-up
finishes Friday night in a dual meet against Ohio State.
RESULTS
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Kenyon Ladies had a total of six runner-up finishes on Friday night as they faced off against NCAA Division I The Ohio State University at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion. The Buckeyes ended up winning the dual meet by a 217-79 tally.

Junior
Hannah Orbach-Mandel earned the Ladies' first second-place mark during the 100-yard freestyle. Her time of 50.85 was just 0.30 seconds away from first place.

A couple of events later,
Julia Wilson dialed up a 2:25.37 finish in the 200 breaststroke. Kaitlin Rossman and
Ren DeBrosse followed in third and fourth, respectively.

Kenyon's next two second-place marks came from
Kendall Vanderhoof and
Kanchi Desai. In the 500 freestyle, Vanderhoof touched the wall in 5:03.52 while Desai finished the 100 butterfly in 59.15. The Ladies also saw
Scout Wilkins and
Claire Murray add third and fourth place marks, respectively in the 500 free.

First-year
Crile Hart added the Ladies' last individual runner-up finish. In the 200-yard individual medley, she clocked in at 2:08.40. Hart also added a pair of third-place marks in the 100 and 200-yard backstroke events, and swam a leg in the fourth-place 200-yard medley relay with teammates
Summer Otazu, Orbach-Mandel and Wilson. The quartet completed that event in 1:44.89.

In relay competition, Kenyon's last second-place finish came in the 400 free relay. Orbach-Mandel,
Celina German,
Abby Wilson and
Emmerson Mirus wrapped that event up in 3:32.29.

Rounding out the Ladies' best marks including
Abby Wilson's third-place finish in the 200 freestyle and
Julia Wilson's fourth-place mark in the 100 breaststroke.

In diving action,
Madeline Carlson came in fifth place in both the one-meter and three-meter diving events.

The Ladies are back in the pool tomorrow at 2 p.m. when they host NCAA Division I Michigan State University at the James A. Steen Aquatics Center.Â
