Lords set to host Wabash in conference tournament

GAMBIER, Ohio -- After beating Wabash College 2-1 in double overtime on October 16th, the No. 17-ranked Kenyon College men's soccer team faces the Little Giants once again. The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) semifinal match starts at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 3rd.

Kenyon leads the all-time series with Wabash, 19-8-4. The two programs' last postseason match came in the 2018 tournament in which Kenyon defeated Wabash 1-0. 

Kenyon (14-1-1, 9-0-0 NCAC) makes its ninth-consecutive, and 14th overall, NCAC Tournament appearance. The Lords earned the No. 1 seed after winning their sixth-consecutive regular season title. Kenyon enters the match after defeating DePauw 1-0 in their regular season finale. 

Wabash (11-5-2, 4-3-2 NCAC) comes in making its fifth-consecutive conference tournament appearance. After tying 1-1 against Oberlin College on Saturday, the Little Giants held on to the fourth and final spot in the NCAC Tournament. 

On the other side of the bracket, No. 3 seed Denison University travels to take on No. 2 seed Ohio Wesleyan University on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The winners of both semifinals meet on Saturday, November 6th for the conference final. 

As mandated by the league office, tickets for Tuesday's match are $7 for adults and $3 for children (18 and under). NCAC students with a valid institution ID will be admitted free of charge.
