Ladies take on Wooster in NCAC semifinal

GAMBIER, Ohio -- For the second time this season, the Kenyon College women's soccer team hosts The College of Wooster at Mavec Field. The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) semifinal match starts at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2nd.

Kenyon holds the all-time series with Wooster, 20-16-5. The last time these two programs met in postseason play, the Fighting Scots defeated the Ladies 2-1 in the 2018 NCAC semifinal.

Kenyon (8-8-1, 5-2-1 NCAC) is making its seventh-consecutive NCAC Tournament appearance and 11th appearance overall. The Ladies earned the No. 2 seed after tying with Wooster in the conference standings but winning the tiebreaker on the head-to-head match up by beating the Scots 1-0 on October 20th. Kenyon is coming off a 1-0 loss on the road to DePauw.

Wooster (10-7-1, 5-2-1 NCAC) makes its fourth-consecutive, 11th overall, appearance in the conference tournament. The Scots look to defend their 2019 conference tournament title after the NCAC canceled the 2020 season. Wooster enters the match after defeating Denison 1-0 at home.

On the other side of the bracket, regular season champion and No. 1 seed Denison University hosts No. 4 seed Wittenberg University on Wednesday at 5 p.m. The winners of both semifinals meet on Saturday, November 6th.

As mandated by the league office, tickets for Tuesday's match are $7 for adults and $3 for children (18 and under). NCAC students with a valid institution ID will be admitted free of charge.
