Dragojlovic rewrites records, claims NCAC award

CLEVELAND – After a dominant, record-setting weekend at the Total Performance Invitational, Kenyon senior Djordje Dragojlovic was selected as the North Coast Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week.

Dragojlovic opened the three-day meet with a statement swim in the 50-yard freestyle. He won the morning prelims in 19.80 before returning at night to claim the event title in 19.53. That final time reset both the pool and meet records and also stood as a personal best. It cleared the NCAA Division III "A" cut (19.56), securing Dragojlovic an automatic berth to the 2025-26 National Championship.

Day two brought another historic moment. Dragojlovic delivered a 1:36.00 in the 200-yard freestyle, breaking the pool, meet, and Kenyon program records. His performance eclipsed the previous Kenyon mark of 1:36.63, set in 1988 by Dennis Mulvihill, the longest-standing record on the books.

On the final day, Dragojlovic continued his dominant run with a stunning 43.13 in the 100-yard freestyle. The swim set a new Kenyon record, surpassing his previous record of 43.14. His time also dipped under the NCAA "A" cut of 43.15, making him the first Division III swimmer this season to hit the automatic qualifying standard and vaulting him to No. 1 in the nation.
