GAMBIER, Ohio -- College Sports Communicators (CSC) released the list of student-athletes who earned a spot on the organization's 2025 Academic All-District Women's Swimming and Diving Team, and four Kenyon College Owls secured the honor. Sydney Geboy, Molly Haag, Lisa Torrecillas-Jouault, and Gabrielle Wei were amongst the honorees announced Tuesday. Geboy, Haag, and Torrecillas-Jouault all secured their second straight CSC All-District awards, while Wei is a first-time awardee.
To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete had to be a key contributor who competed in at least five competitions throughout the season or had a top-eight finish at a conference meet. The student-athlete had to be on the team's active roster for at least two years and had to possess a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average. Each institution was allotted a maximum of four nominations.
All four Owls easily cleared the selection criteria as each member of the quartet not only captured at least one event championship at the conference meet, but also added to Kenyon's NCAA Division III Championship roster.
Geboy returns to the CSC Academic All-District Team after elevating from Academic All-District to earn a spot on last season's CSC Academic All-America Team. The senior is a double major in psychology and sociology, and she finished the season with six All-America swims at the NCAA Championships, bringing her career total to 14. Geboy also added three North Coast Athletic (NCAC) titles to her resume, anchoring three winning relay teams to help the Owls clinch a second straight NCAC Championship.
Haag hauled in her second CSC Academic All-District award after a stellar season that saw her add five All-America awards in as many swims at nationals, running her career All-America total to 13. The mathematics major placed no lower than ninth at the NCAA Championship, and she twice reached the podium while adding her first career silver medal. Haag also helped the Owls at the NCAC Championship and led off for Kenyon's winning 400-yard freestyle relay team.
Torrecillas-Jouault rounded out the two-time CSC Academic All-District trio. Another double major who studies philosophy and political science, Torrecillas-Jouault tacked on two All-America awards this season to bring her career total to 10 after swimming on two top-five relay teams. The junior also swam on two relay teams that claimed NCAC crowns, the 200- and 400-yard freestyle relays.
Wei wraps up her career with her first CSC Academic All-District award. The senior sociology major earned All-America honors in all four of her NCAA Championship swims and secured a pair of silver-medal finishes to finish her career as a 13-time All-American. Wei also won this season's NCAC title in the 200-yard breaststroke, an event in which she was the NCAA Champion last season.
