Lucie Prior

Prior races to NCAC honor

GAMBIER, OH – For the first time this season, Kenyon College junior Lucie Prior was awarded the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) women's cross country Athlete of the Week.

The Tuesday announcement from the NCAC came on the heels of Prior's performance in Saturday's Highlander Invitational, hosted by Houghton University. The race welcomed 11 teams and 140 runners from NCAA Division III and Division II programs. Prior, the only Kenyon runner for the women's team, raced to a 6th place finish with a personal-best 6k time of 22:49.4.

The Owls are in action again Saturday, October 17 as they travel to Oberlin College for the Oberlin Regional Rumble.
