Owls gain two more GCAA team academic awards

NORMAN, Okla. – After honoring the academic achievements of individual golfers earlier this week, the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) released today its list of 2025-26 team academic award winners. The Kenyon College Owls were not only included among the winners of the PLATFORM Golf All-Academic Team Award, but also earned GCAA Presidents Special Recognition.

To be eligible for the GCAA's All-Academic Team honor, an institution had to submit the grade point averages for each golfer on its official roster. The team's combined grade point average had to be 3.00 or better.

While there were 62 NCAA Division III men's golf programs that earned the All-Academic Team Award, there were only 28, including Kenyon, that earned Presidents Special Recognition for having a team grade point average of 3.50 or better.

Kenyon had nine players on its 2025-26 roster and together they combined for a 3.57 grade point average for the season.

The All-Academic Team Award was the Owls' 13th in as many years, while the team earned the Presidents Special Recognition for the sixth consecutive season.
