Box Score
GRAVILLE, Ohio – In their first North Coast Athletic Conference action of the season, the Kenyon College Lords soccer team played rival Denison University to a 0-0 tie Saturday in Granville. It was a familiar result for the teams, who have recorded a scoreless draw in three of their past four regular-season meetings.
The contest was incredibly even with Kenyon attempting 13 shots to Denison's 14. Senior goalkeeper
James Smith made four saves to keep the Big Red off the scoreboard. Denison's Matt Wagner was only called on to make two saves, but one was a crucial stop in the first overtime period.
Up next for the Lords is their final non-conference game of the season Tuesday night at John Carroll University at 7:45 p.m.
