Senior Jonah Edwards nearly broke a College record in the 100-meter
dash on Saturday as the Ladies competed in the All-Ohio
Championship at OWU.

Jonah Edwards nearly broke a College record on Saturday as the team took part in the All-Ohio Championship hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University. By day's end, the Ladies had notched 33 team points and placed tenth out of 19 teams.
The current Kenyon outdoor record in the 100-meter dash is 12.09 seconds. On Saturday, Edwards clocked a 12.21 finish and claimed first place. That turned out to be the team's lone event victory.
Edwards also did well in the 200-meter dash. She crossed the finish line in 25.24 which was good for the runner-up spot.
Kenyon also earned a couple other high marks. During the triple jump,
Devron Martin took third place with a jump of 36 feet.
Susannah Davies followed that up with another bronze finish in the 10,000-meter run as she completed the race in 43:05.27.
Molly Hunt and
Gillian Blackwell rounded out Kenyon's best finishes. In the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Hunt checked in at sixth with a time of 11:54.52. For Blackwell, she placed ninth in the 400-meter dash as she crossed in 1:00.49.
