INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The NCAA announced the field of student-athlete qualifiers for the upcoming 2025 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships, and Kenyon College's Paula Soric was selected for the national finale. Soric secured her spot at the SPIRE Institute's Outdoor Track & Field facility for her performance in the triple jump, where she registered the 19th-best finish out of 22 selected student-athletes.

Soric will not have to go far to make her mark on the national stage as this year's DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be held at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. The meet will be hosted by familiar faces too, as the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) will share hosting duties with the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and the SPIRE Institute. The meet is set to run from May 22-24, with triple jump competition scheduled for 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, May 24.

After knocking on the door of the NCAA field for multiple years, Soric breaks through to the NCAA stage at the end of her senior season. The Zadar, Croatia, native built up to a career-best this season, breaking her own Kenyon record with an 11.96-meter (39-3) leap. The jump shattered her previous personal best of 11.82 meters (38-9 ½), which she also set earlier this season. 

Soric's record-setting leap landed her an individual NCAC Championship in the triple jump at the beginning of the month. She also placed second in the long jump, and her impressive performances led the league to pick her as the NCAC Outdoor Field Athlete of the Year for a third straight season. Soric is also a two-time NCAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Year honoree. She is one of six NCAC women's track and field athletes headed to the NCAA Championships, and Soric is Kenyon's first women's track and field athlete to compete on the national level of outdoor competition since 2014.
