Lords among USTFCCCA’s best academic teams

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released today its annual list of All-Academic Team award winners and, for the 15th consecutive year, the Kenyon College Lords earned a spot on the list.

For a team to be considered for the annual distinction, it must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period. Overall, there were 173 men's teams that received the All-Academic Team honor in NCAA Division III.

What makes the Lords' presence on this season's list so special is that their combined team grade point average of 3.71 is their best over the course of the last 15 years. The Lords' grade point average also ranked fourth best among all NCAA Division III institutions on this year's USTFCCCA's list.
