Master headlines Kenyon’s All-NCAC picks

CLEVELAND -- The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) revealed Monday the names of those student-athletes selected to the 2025 All-NCAC Field Hockey Team. Kenyon had three players, including First-Team selection Casey Master, who earned spots among the honorees.

The Owls' other two all-conference players were Maren Lawrence, who was named to the Second Team, and Zady Hasse, who landed on the Third Team.

Master, a sophomore midfielder, was named to the postseason list for the first time in her career. This past season, she played in all 16 games and tallied one goal and one assist. She logged 23 shots on the offensive end of the field and had one defensive save at the other end. Her two-way play in the midfield was crucial to the team's success.

Lawrence, a junior forward, is not new to the All-NCAC ledger. She's now a three-time honoree, after being recognized on the Third Team in 2023 and then on the Second Team in 2024. During the 2025 campaign, Lawrence led the Owls with eight goals and 18 points in 16 games played. She fired off a team-high 39 shots and two of her goals were registered as game-winners.

Hasse, a sophomore and a defensive-minded midfielder, is also no stranger to the all-conference team. Last season, as a first-year, she earned a spot on the Third Team. She played in all 16 games and helped the Kenyon defense hold opponents to an average of 2.31 goals per game. Additionally, she recorded her second career assist in the team's first game of the season.

Overall, the 2025 Kenyon team finished with a 5-11 record, including a fifth-place finish in the conference standings with a 5-4 mark.
