2025 Men's Lacrosse Season Preview

GAMBIER, Ohio – Coming off of another strong season that culminated in the team's fourth-straight trip to the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) championship game and eight individual selections to the All-NCAC squad, the Kenyon College men's lacrosse team looks to keep moving forward, consistently competing for a conference title and gaining another berth into the NCAA Division III Tournament.

2024 Review:
The Owls started the season on a 5-0 win streak before narrowly falling to No. 5 Dickinson College and No. 20 Franklin and Marshall. Kenyon ended the non-conference slate 6-3 and then rattled off an impressive 6-2 mark in the NCAC, earning the third-seed in the conference tournament and rising to as high as No. 20 in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) national rankings. Against Ohio Wesleyan University in the semifinals, the team stormed through an incredible fourth quarter, coming back from four goals down and winning, 13-12. The Owls advanced to the finals and took an early lead against Denison University, but fell in the end 15-11.

NCAC Preseason Poll:
Kenyon amassed 66 points and one first-place vote in the NCAC Preseason Coaches Poll, ranking third in the predicted standings. Defending champion Denison claimed the top spot with 78 points and six first-place votes, while Ohio Wesleyan tallied 71 points and two first-place votes to land in the runner-up position.
