CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) announced the league's annual All-NCAC Softball Team on Wednesday, and Kenyon College's Kylie Hamm was listed amongst the all-conference honorees. The sophomore secured a spot on the All-NCAC Third Team to earn her first career All-NCAC award.

Hamm has had a stellar start to her Kenyon career, stepping in as the ace of the pitching staff from day one. Despite making 10 fewer appearances than last year as the team dealt with disruptive weather all spring, Hamm improved her strikeout totals from 60 to 64 while lowering her ERA by 0.08 points. Over the 2025 season, the sophomore led qualified Owls pitchers in ERA (2.94), walks and hits per inning pitched (1.48), wins (5), complete games (7), innings pitched (97.2), strikeouts (64), and opponent batting average (.295).

Even though the All-NCAC teams are voted on by conference coaches and only include stats compiled in conference contests, Hamm still had the stuff to haul in All-NCAC honors. Against league opponents, the Greenville, Ohio, native posted a 2.98 ERA and threw 44.2 innings and three complete games across seven starts.

Amongst NCAC individuals, Hamm's 2.98 conference-only ERA was the seventh-best mark amongst pitchers with at least seven starts. Her overall 2.94 ERA this season is the eighth-lowest mark for qualified conference pitchers, and she ranks fifth in innings pitched and seventh in strikeouts.

Hamm is Kenyon's first player listed only as a pitcher to be picked for an All-NCAC team since 2019. She is the first Kenyon player to do any pitching to earn all-conference honors since 2022. Overall, the Owls finished the season with a 19-15 record and went 4-10 in NCAC play. The team's overall and NCAC win totals were the best since 2022.
