Kenyon sends six to All-NCAC squad

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) announced its 2025 All-NCAC women's lacrosse selections on Friday, and six members of the Kenyon College team earned spots on the squad. Blythe Karras, Lily Mason, and Nola Garand garnered First Team spots, Emma Sage secured a Second Team nomination, while Charlotte Skelly and Spencer Kirsch made the All-NCAC Third Team. 

Garand picked up her second straight All-NCAC First Team honor after a solid senior season in cage for the Owls. She set a new career high in saves (170) while also facing the most shots in her career (499). She started all 16 games this season for Kenyon and she wraps up her career ranked second all time in saves (577), ninth in save percentage (.481) and sixth in goals against average (10.23).

Joining her on the First Team was Mason, marking her second all-conference selection and first top-team placement. She scored 30 goals this season, tying her at the top of the team standings, while ranking second on the team with 33 points. Mason, a midfielder, also tied atop the team chart in ground balls (30) and was third on the team in caused turnovers (16). 


Karras, an attack, rounded out the First Team selections, capping off a sensational senior season. She ranked first on the team and third in the conference in assists (32), while racking up 27 goals and 59 points, all career highs by far. She started all 16 games for Kenyon and was a massive part of the offense. 


A first-year defender, Sage led the Owls defense to a strong season, starting 15 of 16 games and earning a spot on the Second Team. She tied atop the team in standings in ground balls (30) and caused turnovers (18). As a unit, Kenyon's defense ranks tied for third in the conference in caused turnovers (284).


Kirsch ended her junior season with her first All-NCAC selection, making the Third Team after a career-high season in the Owls' midfield. She set personal best marks for goals (30), tying her atop the team standings, and tied her career best for points (32). She also netted three woman-up goals, grabbed 24 ground balls, and caused nine turnovers. 


Rounding out Kenyon's all-conference crop was Skelly, an attack who started all 16 games and landed on the All-NCAC Third Team. She ranked fourth on the team in goals (24), fifth in assists (4) and fourth in points (28) while netting a team-high three game-winning goals. 


Overall, Kenyon finished 7-9 and 3-3 in the NCAC, good enough to earn the No. 4 seed in the conference tournament. The Owls reached the conference semifinal round and fell to eventual champion Denison.
