Hall, Nelson named to IMLCA All-Region squad

DURHAM, N.C. -- Postseason awards kept rolling in this week for the Kenyon College men's lacrosse team as the Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) announced that Adam Hall and Thomas Nelson were awarded All-Region honors for the 2025 season.

Hall, a junior on Kenyon's 2025 team, was named a Second Team pick among the goalkeepers, while Nelson, a senior on the 2025 team, was named an Honorable Mention among the face-off specialists. The IMLCA All-Region award was a first for Hall and the third, in three years, for Nelson.

Hall started all 16 games for the Owls, who put together a 10-6 overall record, including a 5-3 mark in North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) play. In that span, he registered a 10.52 goals against average, 193 saves, and a .561 save percentage. His save percentage ranked first among all goalkeepers in the NCAC and his average of 12.06 saves per game ranked second best.

Nelson graduated in May as the best face-off specialist in Kenyon history. He owns program career records for face-offs won (902) and face-off win percentage (.685). This past season, Nelson was 236-of-351 in face-off battles. Both his 2025 win total and win percentage ranked second best in the conference. Additionally, his total of 159 ground balls and his average of 9.94 ground balls per game ranked second best in the NCAC.

Nelson's statistics not only shine at the conference and regional levels, but the national level. His career face-off win total is tied for the 13th best in the history of NCAA Division III and his career face-off win percentage is 24th in NCAA Division III history.
