CLEVELAND, Ohio – Wednesday, five days after making her return to the course, Kenyon College senior Anna Brown was named the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.
The honor comes on the heels of Brown's stellar performance at Friday's Port Kenyon Opener. Running her first race since her sophomore year, Brown notched a career-best time of 14:04.06 in the 4k race, securing first place by a comfortable 16-second margin.
Brown's commanding finish helped set the tone for the Owls as they opened their 2025 campaign on home turf, securing a fourth-place finish as a team. Brown and the rest of the Owls will now shift their focus to the All-Ohio Intercollegiate Classic, hosted by Cedarville University on Friday, September 19.
