Belova tags second NCAC weekly award

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) announced its Athletes of the Week for October 20, with Kenyon College sophomore Sasha Belova notching her second selection of the fall season. Belova has received the honor a total of three times in her young career.

Belova ends her fall season on a high note dominating a talented field at the Clovernook Women's Intercollegiate adding a four shot win to her resume. She knocked off Lauren Slatton of Rose-Hulman who was ranked as the number two player in the country in the process.

Belova posted a strong round of 76(+4) at Clovernook CC in round one to sit in a tie for second place. However, day two was Belova's strongest round where she shot a one under, 71 taking a four shot victory. The sophomore Owl was ranked 90th in the country to end the fall and will look to continue a dominant start.

The Owls finished up the fall season with a ranking of 36th in the country and fourth in the region.
