Blackmer, Greville earn All-Region honors

GAMBIER, Ohio – Kenyon College men's track and field student-athletes Charlie Blackmer and Josh Greville earned All-Region honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the organization announced Wednesday.

The top-8 individuals in each event from each region on the year-end Descending Order Lists earned All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams. The regions used for this award – East, Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, South, and West – match those used during the cross country season.

Blackmer, a sophomore, earned All-Region distinction in the 800 meters after posting in school-record time of 1:53.27 at the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Indoor Championship. His mark secured a second-place finish and ranked among the region's top times this season.

Greville, a senior, was honored in the heptathlon following a strong showing at the NCAC Indoor Championship. He compiled a season-best 4,547 points to finish third overall, marking the best individual performance in the heptathlon in program history.
