Six earn CSC Academic All-District recognition

GAMBIER, Ohio -- Reaching the maximum number of honorees allowed per institution, the Kenyon College Owls had six student-athletes listed on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's Track and Field Team. The Kenyon group included seniors Josh Greville, Noah Hopkins, Dylan Sibbitt and Owen Rodstrom, as well as sophomores Charlie Blackmer and Graham Yeager.

For Greville, the CSC honor was his third in as many years. Hopkins and Rodstrom are now two-time winners, while Sibbitt, Blackmer, and Yeager are all first-time winners.

To be eligible for the Academic All-District Team, a student-athlete had to be a key contributor who produced a Top-50 performance in the region in a single, individual event (relays not considered). The student-athlete also had to be on the team's active roster for at least two years and had to possess a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average.

Greville rang up his best regional rankings in multi-event competitions. During the indoor track and field season, he was ranked fourth regionally in the heptathlon. In the outdoor season, he ranked fifth regionally in the decathlon. He also hit Top-50 regional ranks in the 400-meter race for both the indoor and outdoor seasons. Greville graduated in May after double-majoring in biology and environmental studies.

Sibbitt, who graduated with a degree in political science, was Kenyon's senior class president. On the track, he concentrated on distance events and notched two regional ranks during the outdoor season. He was 37th regionally in the 3,000-meter steeplechase and was 48th regionally in the 5,000-meter run.

Hopkins and Rodstrom were also distance runners. Along with Sibbitt, they ran cross country during the fall season. The two matched Sibbitt by registering Top-50 regional ranks in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Hopkins, who now has a degree in physics, ranked at No. 47, while Rodstrom, who won the 2026 North Coast Athletic Conference title in the event, ranked at No. 2. Rodstrom, who graduated with a degree in mathematics, also had qualifying ranks in the 3,000-meter run, as well as the 5,000-meter run during both indoor and outdoor seasons.

Blackmer was also a dual-sport athlete and he piled up seven regional qualifying ranks. In cross country, he finished 20th at the Great Lakes Region Championship. During the indoor track season, his regional ranks included No. 3 in the 800-meter, No. 9 in the mile, and No. 21 in the 3,000-meter. Blackmer, a neuroscience major, then finished off the 2025-26 campaign with outdoor ranks of No. 3 in the 1,500-meter, No. 10 in the 5,000-meter, and No. 14 in the 800-meter.

While those five Kenyon student-athletes were all runners, the Owls' lone field representative was Yeager, a thrower in competition and an environmental studies major in the classroom. Yeager took on shot put, discus, hammer and weight throw duties. He notched his regional qualifying mark during the outdoor season, when he settled at No. 12 in the discus.
