Blackmer represents Owls at Tufts Final Qualifier

MEDFORD, Mass. – Charlie Blackmer was the lone competitor for the Kenyon College men's track and field team Saturday afternoon, competing in the Tufts Final Qualifier in hopes of qualifying for the 2026 NCAA Division III indoor track and field championships.

Blackmer competed in the 800 meter race and finished in eighth place with a 1:53.90 time.

The time was just slower than the sophomore's career and season best, which sits at 1:53.27 from February's Steemer Showcase.

The selections for the 2026 NCAA Division III indoor track and field championships will be released on NCAA.com on Sunday, March 8 to see who will compete at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Alabama.
