Brown and Helmbrecht take on Tufts Final Qualifier

MEDFORD, Mass. – Anna Brown and Noa Helmbrecht represented the Kenyon College women's track and field team on Saturday afternoon at the Tufts Final Qualifier, as the pair hoped to qualify for the 2026 NCAA Division III indoor track and field championships in their respective events. 

Brown recorded the Owls' best finish of the day, taking second place in the 800 meters. Her 2:15.52 time was the senior's second fastest of the season, just slotting in behind her 2:15.05 mark set at the Steemer Showcase in February. 

In the 60 sprint, Helmbrecht sped to an 8.10 second time, good enough for fifth place. The sophomore's best time of the season also came at the Steemer Showcase, where she turned in a 7.89 mark. 

The selections for the 2026 NCAA Division III indoor track and field championships will be released on NCAA.com on Sunday, March 8 to see who will compete at the Birmingham Crossplex in Birmingham, Alabama.
