Brown named All-American at NCAA Championship

LA CROSSE, Wisc. -- Senior Anna Brown wrapped up her brilliant Kenyon College career on Friday with an impressive run at the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championship. Running in a preliminary heat for the 800-meter race, Brown clocked in at 2:10.73 and wound up placing 14th out of 22 runners.

Brown's time just missed her Kenyon program record of 2:10.65, which she established just two weeks ago, but it did net her All-America status, slotting in as a Second-Team honoree. With her result, Brown became the Kenyon program's second All-American in the last two seasons. In 2025, Paula Soric was named All-American in the triple jump.

In addition to her All-American honor, Brown concluded her Kenyon career as an 11-time all-conference performer and a soon-to-be two-time all-region award winner.

The top nine finishers in Friday's 800-meter preliminary heats will move on to Saturday's final. The top time in the preliminary heats was 2:08.37, which came from Alexa Estes of Connecticut College.
