GAMBIER, Ohio – Sophomores
Hana Nouaime and
Clare Hudson of the Kenyon College women's tennis team were recognized Tuesday afternoon as selections to the 2025-26 Academic All-District Team, selected by College Sports Communicators.
To be eligible, a student-athlete had to be a contributor who participated in at least 70 percent of the team's duals this season. The student-athlete also had to be on the team's active roster for at least two years and possess at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.
Nouaime, a mathematics major carrying a 3.62 cumulative grade point average, put together another strong campaign for the Owls in both singles and doubles play. The sophomore currently owns a 14-8 overall singles record, including a 10-7 mark in dual matches and a perfect 3-0 record against North Coast Athletic Conference opponents. She spent the majority of the season competing in the No. 3 singles position, where she compiled an 8-7 record. Nouaime also earned second-team All-NCAC honors this season.
In doubles action, Nouaime primarily paired with
Eleni Lazaridou at the top flight. The duo emerged as one of the region's most consistent tandems, combining for a 19-7 overall record while going 15-5 in the No. 1 doubles slot.
Hudson, an English and psychology double major with a 3.94 cumulative GPA, also delivered a productive sophomore season for the Owls. She posted a 10-6 overall singles record and finished 7-4 in dual-match competition. Hudson remained unbeaten in conference play with a 2-0 record and saw most of her action at the No. 5 singles spot, where she secured seven victories. Hudson also added third-team All-NCAC recognition.
Across doubles competition, Hudson teamed with multiple partners throughout the season and compiled an overall doubles mark of 8-5.
