NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Three members of the Kenyon College women's lacrosse team earned spots on the 2026 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Division III All-Region Team, as announced by the organization, Friday afternoon.
Senior
Lily Mason led the Owls' trio with a First Team selection in the Great Lakes Region, while seniors
Spencer Kirsch and
Cecily Torres earned Second Team honors. The awards mark the first career IWLCA All-Region recognition for all three Kenyon standouts. The IWLCA honored 256 student-athletes across Division III, and all All-Region selections are now eligible for the organization's All-America teams, which will be announced May 22.
Mason's First Team nod capped a complete senior campaign in the midfield after previously earning First Team All-NCAC honors. She played in 16 games and made 12 starts, making her presence felt in nearly every phase. Mason finished with 31 goals, two assists, 33 points, 32 ground balls, 55 draw controls, and 23 caused turnovers. She led the Owls in ground balls, draw controls, and caused turnovers, while also ranking fourth on the team in goals and fifth in points.
Kirsch gave Kenyon another midfield representative on the regional list after steering the Owls' attack throughout the spring and earning Second Team All-NCAC honors. The senior played in all 17 games and started 12 of them, leading Kenyon with 39 goals and 46 points while adding seven assists. She also collected 22 ground balls, secured 42 draw controls, and caused 10 turnovers.
Torres rounded out the trio by earning Second Team All-Region honors as a defender, adding to her Second Team All-NCAC selection. She played in all 17 games and started 16, becoming one of Kenyon's most dependable back-line presences. Torres totaled 29 ground balls and 21 caused turnovers, ranking second on the team in both categories, and helped set the tone for a defense that finished the year with 140 caused turnovers and 320 ground balls.
Kenyon closed the 2026 season with a 9-8 overall record and a 5-2 mark in NCAC play. The Owls scored 218 goals, handed out 89 assists, won 243 draw controls, and reached the NCAC Tournament.
