It's the first time since the 1995 season that Kenyon has won its first five contests.
Tony Amolo broke the scoreless tie in the 17th minute when he finished in front of the net on an assist from
Jordan Glassman. Amolo has scored a team-high seven goals this season.
The Lords pushed their lead to 2-0 just four minutes later on an own goal. Glassman took a shot that was saved by Colonels goalkeeper Ohan Missirian-Dill but a subsequent collision from one of Centre's players knocked the ball out of the keeper's hands and rolled into the left corner of the net.
Centre attempted just one shot on goal which came with less than a minute left in the first half. Connor Reed's shot was denied though by Kenyon's
Sam Clougher who notched his fourth shutout of the year.
The Lords out-shot the Colonels 12-2, with eight of those attempts on-goal.
Woo Jeon capped off Kenyon's scoring efforts when he finished a pass from
Josh Lee with about 15 seconds remaining.
The Lords' next match comes September 17 when they welcome Muskingum University to Mavec Field for a 4:45 p.m. contest. Â
