rolled by Capital 5-1.COLUMBUS, Ohio-
Jordan Glassman scored No. 2 Kenyon's first three goals en route to a 5-1 come-from-behind win over Capital University Tuesday afternoon at Bernlohr Stadium in a non-conference men's soccer match.
Kenyon remained perfect to start the year (8-0) and notched its sixth win away from Gambier.
The Crusaders jumped out to 1-0 lead in the 14th minute as R.G. Florey was tackled just inside the goalie's box which resulted in a foul and subsequent penalty kick.
The Lords trailed Capital for a season-long 18 minutes before Glassman delivered the equalizer in the 32nd minute.
Tony Amolo stole possession from a Capital player and found Glassman who fired a shot into the right corner of the net.
The 1-1 score would remain the rest of the first half.
Just three minutes into the second half, Glassman would deliver the go-ahead score as he took a no-look pass from Amolo along the left side and finished passed Capital goalkeeper Justin Niswonger.
The Lords never relinquished the lead and turned a close first half into a runaway second.
Glassman scored his third and final goal in the 64th minute as a misplayed ball by a Capital defender and Niswonger resulted in a tap-In for the Madison, Conn., native.
Amolo tallied his ninth goal of the year in the 78th minute before
Oliver Wynn scored his first on a header in the 82nd to round out Kenyon's scoring efforts.
The Lords out-shot the Crusaders 21-9 with 10 of those attempts on-goal. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
