The Ladies fell to Trinity International (Ill.) and Franklin today at the
Earlham Quaker Classic.RICHMOND, In. – After claiming a pair of victories to open the Earlham Quaker Classic, the Kenyon College volleyball team couldn't close the final day with two more wins as they fell to Trinity International University (Ill.) and Franklin College.

The Ladies fell to TIU 25-14, 25-17, and 25-22. They closed the day falling to Franklin 25-12, 25-20, and 25-13.

Lauren Kerr led Kenyon against Trinity International with eight kills and a .429 attack percentage. She also added three block assists.
Hannah Shank handed out a team-high nine assists while
Rachael Thorson contributed 14 digs to pace the Ladies' defense.

As a team, Kenyon hit just .030.

In the final match of the day, Kerr totaled seven kills while
Bridget Murdoch added five. Thorson and
Tierney McClure combined to record 25 of the team's 42 digs.

The Kenyon offense struggled again producing just a .009 attack percentage.

The Ladies will return to action September 12-13 at the John Carroll University Invitational. They will play Case Western Reserve University on the 12th followed by matches with the College of Mt. Joseph and JCU the next day.
