GAMBIER, Ohio – After advancing out of the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament, Kenyon College found out from the Division III Men's Soccer Committee that it would again have the right to host third and fourth-round matches at Mavec Field on November 23rd and 24th.

The Lords will welcome Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Centre College and Montclair State University in the sectional round of the NCAA's postseason championship. On Saturday, CMS will play Centre at 11 a.m. followed by the Lords' match against Montclair State at 1:30 p.m.

No. 9 (United Soccer Coaches) Kenyon (19-1-2) got out of the first weekend with a 5-0 win against No. 20 Penn State Behrend and 2-1 overtime victory against University of Rochester. Kenyon qualified for its sixth third-round appearance in the last seven seasons in the process. The Lords bring a 20-match unbeaten streak into the contest against the Red Hawks, the second all-time meeting and first since 1997. Â

For Montclair State (17-4-2), it upset fourth-ranked Franklin & Marshall College in the round of 32 by winning a penalty-kick shootout. The team's first-round match brought a 2-0 win against Hobart College. Members of the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC), the Red Hawks won their conference tournament to earn their 19th overall appearance in the NCAA postseason.

The other matchup features the Colonels (18-3-1) and Stags (16-3-2). Centre won its first two NCAA tourney contests by defeating Kalamazoo College 1-0 and upsetting No. 7 John Carroll University 3-1. Centre, which got into the NCAAs following its Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Tournament championship, is playing in the 'Sweet 16' for the first time in program history.

CMS enters the round of 16 following a pair of 2-0 shut-out victories against Texas Lutheran and Trinity (TX) University. The Stags' 16 wins this year are two off the single-season program record. During the season, Claremont won the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

The winners of the two matches will play on Sunday at 1 p.m. in the quarterfinal round. Ticket prices for the game are $7 for adults, $5 for students and $3 for children 17 and under. Students carrying a Kenyon ID will be admitted free.
