Dion named to All-Region team

KANSAS CITY, MO. -- After a successful senior season, Kenyon College women's soccer player Olivia Dion earned United Soccer Coaches third-team All-Region honors. Dion, now a two-time All-Region honoree, earned the same recognition after the 2019 season, as well.

In the 2021 season, Dion started every game for the Ladies. She scored three goals, assisting on four others for a total of 10 points. Dion led the team in shots (58) and shots on goal (24). The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) named the senior midfielder a first-team selection to the 2021 All-NCAC team, her second all-conference award.

Dion and the Ladies finished the season 8-8-2 overall and 5-2-1 in the NCAC, including an appearance in the conference semifinals.

Dion, a South Burlington, Vermont native, became the fifth player in Ladies history to earn All-Region honors multiple times.
