KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The 2022 NCAA Division III Women's All-Region VII Team, selected by United Soccer Coaches, was announced on Wednesday, and Kenyon College's Sadie Gould represented the Owls' women's soccer program on the All-Region Third Team.
Gould helped Kenyon finish the 2022 campaign with a 7-6-4 mark, including a 5-1-1 record in the North Coast Athletic Conference. The Owls earned a first-place finish in the conference, collecting an NCAC regular-season championship for the fourth time in program history.
Gould, a junior, earned a spot on the All-Region Third Team after being named to the All-NCAC First Team for her strong season. It was her second straight all-conference nod after being named an honorable mention on the 2021 All-NCAC team.Â
This past season, the midfielder paced Kenyon with 13 points, scoring a team-high six goals and dishing out one assist. Her half-dozen goals tied for the third-best mark in the NCAC, and her 13 total points ranked sixth in the conference. The West Simsbury, Connecticut, native's three game-winners tied for the best mark in the conference, and her .714 goals per game in conference contests led the NCAC.
