COLUMBUS, Ind. – After three rounds at the Otter Creek Golf Club, the Kenyon College men's golf team finished in second place at the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Tournament on Sunday, capping off the final 18 holes with a 290 (+2) and a 54 hole score of 862 (-2).

Jaiden Koonar led the Owls for the third straight day with a third round score of 70 (-2), which put him tied atop the individual leaderboard for the tournament after 54 holes. He advanced to a sudden death playoff and came away with the win, earning medalist honors with a score of 210 (-6).

Koonar led off the final round with eight straight pars before carding a three on the par four ninth hole, giving him the best front nine score of the day for Kenyon. He backed it up with two more birdies on the back on both of the par fives to finish at 35 on the back and 70 for the day.

Jonathan Oakes finished second for the Owls in round three, shooting a 71 (-1). He led off the round with two bogeys on the front nine to shoot 38 (+2), but came back with an eagle and a birdie on the back nine with seven pars to shoot a 33, which was Kenyon's best nine hole score of the tournament. He ended up tied for fifth on the individual leaderboard at 214 (-2) for the tournament.

Up next for Kenyon was Oliver McGovern, who like Oakes carded two bogeys on the front for a 38. He followed it up with an even par 36 on the back to shoot a 74 (+2) overall.

Adrian Jordan finished one behind McGovern at 75 (+3) for the day, also making two bogeys on the front nine for a 38. He made one birdie on the back with two bogeys for a 37. For the tournament, he ended at 219 (+3), good enough for eleventh.

Rounding out the Owls five was Rafael Frias IV, who shot 89 (+17). He struggled on the front with a 48 (+12), but settled down on the back nine with a 41 (+5).

The red figure-finish set a new program record for Kenyon, marking the lowest 54-hole tournament result in relation to par.

Wittenberg University came away with the 2025 NCAC title with a winning score of 858 (-6). DePauw (+20) took third, while Denison (+26) and Wabash (+27) rounded out the top five.
