ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – Taking on a top-25 ranked opponent for the second time in as many matches, the Kenyon College men's tennis team took on No. 22 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) on Friday morning as the team's spring break slate rolled on.

The Owls bounced back from their first loss of the season with a 4-0 sweep of the Engineers, earning the team's tenth win and second ranked win.

Kenyon (10-1) took all three doubles matches in decisive fashion. Alejandro Gonzalez and Eliezer Gonzalez teamed up for the team's most convincing win, a 6-1 victory in the No. 3 flight. Over in the No. 2 doubles match, Paulo Pocasangre Kreling and Jay Kedar Dixit won 6-3. The No. 1 flight was the closest, but Maximo Llamas Castellanos and Juozas Cioladis came away with a 6-4 win.

Stylianos Papamichael got in the mix in the No. five flight, where he came away with a 6-2, 6-2 win to secure the 4-0 victory.

Although the first, second and sixth flight matches were abandoned, A. Gonzalez and Rohan Sriram were both ahead in their matches by capturing wins in the first set.
