Patrick Kawakami is a four-year letterwinner for the Lords golf program. During the course of his Kenyon career, he showed consistent improvement, from a 83.0 scoring average his freshman season to a 78.4 scoring average this past season. He played in more than 50 rounds and 20 events for the Lords. His efforts on the course and in the classroom led to him being named a Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-America Scholar. He was not only a leader on the team, but also served an active role as co-vise president of the Kenyon Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Job Description: An Agent Assistant is responsible for handling a vast number of day-to-day operations for an entertainment agent. This includes communicating with clients and potential clients, client availability checks, potential client research and contract organization. The challenge is establishing a good connection with the agent so that we will be able to work as an efficient team. I'll have to know what he or she is thinking before it is said, which is essential in such a fast-paced industry.
Kenyon's role:Â In such a fast-paced industry, I quickly learned that time and time management is everything. You have to be able to see a problem or an opportunity and within seconds be able to articulate your thoughts and opinions in a clear way. My coursework, participation in athletics and extracurricular organizations helped me practice efficient time management and articulate solutions to problems effectively. It was also with the help of Kim Wallace and Coach
Grant Wallace that I was put in contact with Zach Hardin '15, who is a mentor for me as I enter the industry.Â
What I'll never forget about Kenyon: All of the friendships I have made throughout the 4 years, and breaking out the grill on South Quad or the Acland lawn every chance we got.
